Data-Driven Precision Oncology

The analysis of large volumes of genetic, clinical and imaging data using artificial intelligence enables a more precise understanding of cancer.

By integrating multimodal datasets, relevant patterns and associations can be identified that contribute to understanding cancer development, progression and treatment response. This data-driven approach forms the foundation of precision oncology at the Comprehensive Cancer Center Zurich (CCCZ).

Our Priorities

  • Consolidation of cancer-related data across the CCCZ
  • Establishment of a digital Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROM) infrastructure to accompany patients during therapy
  • Automated decision support in the tumor board setting
  • Development of a strong community and expertise in computational cancer modelling

“We enable access to cancer data to learn from historical patient trajectories and to develop improved cancer therapies using AI algorithms.”
