CCCZ Membership - A network for academic excellence in oncology

Requirements and Application

CCCZ membership is granted to individuals who meet the following criteria:

• Applicants must be affiliated as a member or employee of the University of Zurich (UZH), University Hospital Zurich (USZ), Balgrist University Hospital, the University Children’s Hospital Zurich, or ETH Zurich, and demonstrate a strong connection to cancer research or clinical oncology.
• Applicants must hold a position as a research group leader or senior physician.

Furthermore, applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria of scientific excellence:

• Serve as Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator on an active, externally funded oncology project, with funding awarded through a competitive peer-review process at the national or international level; or
• Have authored recent peer-reviewed scientific publications in oncology within the past two years; or
• Act as Principal Investigator of an oncology clinical trial at CCCZ, or regularly enroll patients in oncology clinical trials.

Membership is granted for a period of four years and may be renewed upon submission of a written application. Membership automatically terminates upon departure from one of the affiliated institutions listed above. Final decisions regarding admission are made by the CCCZ Board of Directors.
