At CCCZ, we support the next generation of scientists, physicians, and oncology professionals. Our early-career programs foster young talents in cancer research and support their academic career development. Our continuing education programs and events are open to specialists, general practitioners, and other healthcare professionals.
CCCZ Fellow Program
The CCCZ Fellow Program is a structured excellence program designed to support early-career scientists and physician-scientists in oncology. Through competitive one-year fellowships, the program promotes outstanding talents in their academic career development. Fellows are provided with protected research time to pursue their own research projects under the mentorship of established research groups and to develop a broad understanding of cancer research and translational oncology.
Cancer Biology PhD and Master Program
The Cancer Biology PhD Program of the Life Science Zurich Graduate School coordinates an extensive training program for doctoral candidates encompassing all aspects of innovative cancer research.
The Master’s Program in Cancer Biology of the UZH Faculty of Science provides interdisciplinary training that bridges basic research and clinically relevant cancer studies. Students gain hands-on experience with state-of-the-art molecular and cellular techniques to explore cancer mechanisms and build a strong foundation for future careers in cancer research.
